'Life Eternal' is my directorial debut after graduating university. I have been lucky enough to work with extremely talented voice actors, animators and composers to create a piece I believe tells a sorrowful yet profound story through the eyes of a young man in mourning - Michael Winter, Director.

Critic Reviews
"Life Eternal" stands out as an exemplary piece of animated cinema that addresses grief with honesty and hope without ever feeling contrived. It is a testament to the talents of its creators — from the voice actors who bring the emotional narrative to life, to the animators and composers who enrich the story with their artistry."
"Michael Winter's directorial debut is impressive, not just for its aesthetic quality but for the maturity with which it handles its themes. Winter’s statement reveals his personal investment in the story, which is evident in how carefully each scene is crafted to resonate with anyone who has experienced loss."
"A solid depiction of loss and the timeless nature of love, Life Eternal’s narrative unfolds delicately and is able to balance moments of reflective sadness with bittersweet nostalgia. As a director, Winter skilfully employs a blend of truth and imagination to delve into Isaac’s emotional journey, allowing viewers to empathize with his pain while also celebrating the joy he had with Ava."
"This is a painful but beautiful story that explores the sadness that is caused by loss, however it also points out that memories can allow the people who have passed away to be with their loved ones forever."
"It is, without a doubt, a must-watch for those who appreciate storytelling that connects deeply with the human experience through the limitless possibilities of animation."
